We recently chose Rushton’s in Southport to organise the funeral of my late Dad. Right from the initial contact with Matt, we knew we had made absolutely the right choice.
Matt was able to help make the whole process so much more manageable both before and during the service.
His caring, compassionate, approach along side clear and practical guidance really helped us at a very difficult time.
We were so reassured by Matt’s calm and gentle support at all stages of the process and I personally really enjoyed our reassuring chat just before the service.
We were so grateful for how smoothly Dad’s funeral went on the day…. the music, the photo tribute, the order of service were all perfect and the flowers were absolutely beautiful!
I also really valued the unexpected but very beneficial “linking arms” touch that Matt and our celebrant Angela adopted as we walked into the crematorium as I very easily could have crumbled at that stage !!
I can’t thank Matt and Rushtons enough. We couldn’t have asked for a better funeral director to help us remember Dad’s life and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to help other families at what is such a difficult and stressful time.

M Rushton funeral directors were amazing. Sasha and Matt went above and beyond. They were kind, helpful and made a very sad time easier to cope with. They took care of my Mum prior to her funeral with great care and dignity. Everything was talked through in depth and explained. If you needed anything you just had to phone them. They are a lovely, kind, caring team and I would 100% recommend them.

We couldn’t recommend Matthew and his team highly enough. They were exceptional and went above and beyond to take care of our mum and to accommodate us. Mum was treated with dignity and respect, and Sasha made sure every little detail was perfect - making mum look absolutely beautiful.
