M Rushton Funeral Directors in Southport is on Marshside Road.

We can help plan services for many different cultures and faiths, as well as those with no religious beliefs.

The funeral home has free parking if you are arriving by car. Our closest bus stop is outside the branch, Lytham Road Bus Stop.

There is a small lip on the door frame of the branch for those arriving in a wheelchair. We do not have a disabled toilet. We are happy to arrange a home visit if you prefer.

We have a private chapel of rest blessed by the Area Dean and local Clergy to enable families to spend time with their loved ones. We can convert this into a service venue to hold a small service for roughly 8 people. We also have a coffin workshop for preparing coffin interiors to the families specification and to their high standards

The building used to be a post office that was the hub of the community. The defibrillator attached outside the building was funded by donations from family in memory of Trevor Christian.

Our Southport funeral home is open Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm. We are always available on the telephone 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
